Breaking down barriers so everybody can enjoy living life to the maximum.
We are an interabled couple, Ella and Ted, navigating life and writing it down as we go.
This website is an open forum for storytelling for people with disabilities and those with disabled people in their lives. We are building a community of like-minded individuals who are keen to support each other on how to live our best life with a disability, share experiences and break down stigma around disability.
This is a safe space for discussion with no judgement.
The overarching ethos for the website is to create a supportive community for disabled people and their friends and family to explore socialising with a disability and the frustrations and achievements that this can entail.
It is a safe space to allow people to have conversations about topics that are often neglected and steered away from, reducing the stigma around being disabled and aiming to make socialising with a disability feel more accessible and achievable.

If you would like to share your story with us, please get in touch.
I’m InterestedThe aim for Level Ground Social is to be an evolving online resource that creates a safe space for discussing the barriers to socialising for disabled people, the frustrations, and also the successes!
We aim to do this by creating blogs on particular topics. The posts will include our experiences and reflections, and where appropriate, we will also review products or schemes that are available to support.
As LGS evolves, we will also be aiming to supplement our blogs with a podcast of us on the website discussing this in a fun and open way.
